Meet Our Principal!

You may ask,” Who is Wendy Sharpe?”
I am a proud Philadelphian and a product of the SDP.
I grew up in the southwest section of the city where I attended Anderson Elementary, Francis
Reed Elementary, Turner Middle School and Bartram Motivation.

My college career began atIndiana University of Pennsylvania where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. I earned my Master’s Degree and Principal Certification while attending Cheyney University.
I continued my education by attending the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University and Beaver
College (Arcadia University) where I studied Science.

My tenure with the School District of Philadelphia spans 34 years at Thomas G. Morton
Elementary. I have held various positions such as teacher, Building Rep, Small Learning
Community Coordinator, Dean of Students, SBTL, Title One Coordinator and Assistant Principal.
